Zach Hutchinson joined Alexander Ricks PLLC as an Associate in 2021. Zach’s practice is focused on business transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, and commercial lending.
Prior to joining the firm, Zach worked as a legal intern for a Charlotte-based solar energy developer as well as for a North Carolina-based merchant bank.

Zach was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He enjoys spending his time writing, painting, and checking out all of the breweries that Charlotte has to offer.

- Assisted businesses with general corporate matters including entity formation, shareholder agreements, operating agreements, and commercial contracts.
- Assisted both purchasers and sellers in a variety of stock and asset acquisitions and dispositions.
- Assisted regional and community banks in commercial lending matters.
- Prior to joining the firm, Zach contributed to the early stages of strategic planning and business development for a start-up merchant bank focused on mezzanine lending.
