Andy Brown became a Member of Alexander Ricks in 2023 after joining the firm as an Associate in 2018. His practice is focused on commercial real estate and corporate transactions. Andy primarily represents owners, developers and lenders in the leasing, acquisition, disposition, development, management and financing of commercial real estate and corporate transactions. Andy currently represents asset managers and owners in the leasing of office, retail and industrial portfolios across the nation. Andy's experience includes representing private and publicly held companies in various corporate transactions, including creation, organization, mergers and acquisitions, licensing and corporate governance.
Prior to joining Alexander Ricks, Andy was an associate in the Corporate and Securities and Health Care Transactional practice groups at Bradley in Charlotte.

Andy was born in Sterling Heights, Michigan and moved to Charlotte in 2004. He enjoys running, hiking and brewery hopping with his wife, Claire.

- Represented real estate developer in the acquisition and disposition of over $200,000,000 in DST and TIC interests.

- Represented landlords in multiple full-building, office, retail and industrial commercial leasing matters.
- Represented regional banks, financial institutions and individuals in various commercial real estate and related commercial lending matters, including: construction and term loans for the development of multi-tenant and mixed-use retail sites.
