Roy Michaux joined Alexander Ricks PLLC in 2019. Mr. Michaux focuses his practice on land use and zoning litigation, construction arbitration and litigation, and condemnation actions. He has represented numerous property owners in claims arising from zoning or re-zoning decisions of local governments, as well as before administrative boards in Charlotte, Huntersville, Cornelius, Pineville, Matthews and other North Carolina cities regarding ordinance interpretation, zoning variances, subdivision and zoning issues.
Mr. Michaux has also represented numerous developers of residential communities before courts and administrative boards in disputes with lot owners and homeowners associations, including issues regarding amenities, open spaces and private streets. In addition, he has represented property owners and governmental entities in condemnation cases.
